Many times during the year, Dave and Paul are asked to speak to garden clubs. They introduce bonsai to many new northland gardeners who are interested in learning or taking the first step. This isnt a workshop environment but basically an introduction and general overview of bonsai and technique.
Above is the recent Duluth Garden and Flower gathering at Lake Superior College. We had to wait for our classroom to open so we found some tables to set up an impromptu display and caught people as they passed from class to class.

We at Twin Ports Bonsai Society love to share the hobby. Another option other than group workshop and garden club engagements, is to instruct one on one in the private setting of a back yard garden.
